Considered the most important of the Inca Empire, the interior of this temple has the characteristic of having a fusion between Inca and colonial construction. Here we will also see very beautiful and artistic paintings.

For the 24th of June you can also attend the Inti Raymi ceremony (Additional Cost, consult), you can enjoy in this place the Fiesta al sol or Inti Raymi, an annual and emblematic celebration of the city, full of much culture.

The fourth site to visit is the ceremonial center dedicated to Mother Earth (Pachamama), which is somewhat deteriorated by time. It is said that this place was a center of cults where the dead Incas were located for ceremonies.

The fifth point of visit is the archaeological site of Puca Pucara is also known as the red fortress because the stones with which it was built have that colour due to their high levels of iron. In addition, we will be able to observe other archaeological zones such as aqueducts, enclosures and fountains.
